Refunds & Cancellations Policy
This policy explains cancellation and refund rules for paid services offered by DocZone.in ("DocZone", "we", "us", "our"), including paid directory listings, subscriptions, promotional services, advertising and other paid website services.
1. Important Principles
Before making a payment, please review the service description, price, duration, inclusions and any service-specific conditions displayed at checkout or in the applicable order confirmation. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to review those details.
2. Cancellation by Customer
Cancellation requests should be submitted through the contact channel specified on DocZone.in and should include the purchaser's name, registered email or phone number, transaction/order reference and the service being cancelled.
Cancellation eligibility depends on the service purchased, whether service delivery has started, the subscription period, promotional terms and applicable law. Where a service-specific cancellation rule is displayed at purchase, that rule will apply subject to mandatory consumer rights.
3. Digital and Listing Services
For digital listings, profile creation, profile enhancement, advertising, promotional placement, lead-generation services and similar services, work may begin shortly after payment. Once a service has been activated, published, scheduled, configured, customised or substantially delivered, a refund may not be available except where required by applicable law or where DocZone.in agrees otherwise.
4. Subscription Services
For recurring or fixed-term subscriptions, cancellation normally prevents future renewals or future service periods, but does not automatically create a refund for a period already commenced or used. If a subscription is cancelled before its next renewal, access may continue until the end of the paid period unless the applicable service terms state otherwise.
5. Duplicate or Erroneous Payments
If you believe you have been charged twice for the same transaction or charged an incorrect amount due to a technical or processing error, contact us promptly with transaction details. After verification, an eligible duplicate or erroneous charge may be refunded or otherwise corrected.
6. Failed Transactions
If your bank or payment provider shows a failed transaction but funds have been debited, the payment may be reversed automatically by the payment system. If the amount does not return within the period communicated by the relevant payment provider, contact us with the transaction reference so we can assist with verification.
7. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will generally be initiated through the original payment method or another appropriate method permitted by the payment provider. The time taken for the credit to appear depends on the bank, card issuer, UPI provider, payment gateway or other financial institution and is outside our direct control.
8. Non-Refundable Situations
Subject to mandatory rights under applicable law, refunds may generally not be available where:
- The customer has used or substantially received the paid service.
- A digital listing, advertising campaign or promotional service has already been published, scheduled or substantially delivered.
- The customer supplied incorrect information and the service was delivered using that information.
- The customer failed to provide required information or approvals within a reasonable time and service delivery was affected.
- The request is based solely on a change of mind after a service has been substantially delivered.
- The transaction is outside an advertised refund window or violates applicable service-specific conditions.
9. Doctor, Clinic and Healthcare Provider Listings
A paid listing or promotional service is a digital/marketing service and does not guarantee patient enquiries, appointments, revenue, ranking, search position, clinical outcomes or any particular business result. Lack of expected leads, bookings or revenue does not by itself establish entitlement to a refund.
10. Appointment and Healthcare-Service Payments
Where DocZone.in facilitates or links to an appointment, consultation, diagnostic, hospital, pharmacy or other healthcare transaction operated by a third party, that provider's cancellation and refund policy may govern the transaction. DocZone.in is not automatically the provider of the underlying healthcare service.
Users should review the cancellation terms presented by the relevant healthcare provider before confirming an appointment or payment.
11. Cancellation by DocZone.in
We may cancel, suspend or refuse a paid service where necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, misuse, inaccurate or misleading information, violation of our Terms, technical limitations or other legitimate reasons. Where appropriate and subject to applicable law, we may provide a refund for the unused portion of a service.
12. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Please contact DocZone.in first where a payment appears incorrect or a refund issue arises, so that we can investigate and resolve it efficiently. Nothing in this policy prevents you from exercising rights available to you under applicable law or through your bank/payment provider.
13. Refund Request Procedure
Send your request using the official DocZone.in contact channel and include:
- Full name of purchaser/account holder.
- Registered email address or phone number.
- Order, invoice or transaction reference.
- Name of the paid service.
- Date and amount of payment.
- Reason for the cancellation/refund request.
- Relevant supporting information, without unnecessary sensitive medical or financial data.
14. Review of Requests
We may review transaction records, service-delivery status, communications and applicable service terms before deciding a refund request. We may request reasonable information to verify the transaction or the identity/authority of the requester.
15. Consumer Rights
This policy is not intended to remove, restrict or waive any non-waivable rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable Indian law. Where applicable law provides a mandatory right to cancellation or refund, that right will prevail over an inconsistent provision of this policy.
16. Changes to this Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version applicable to a transaction will generally be the version presented or incorporated into the applicable purchase terms at the relevant time, subject to applicable law.
17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This policy is governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, disputes concerning paid services or refunds shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
18. Contact for Refunds and Cancellations
Use the contact details published on the official DocZone.in website for refund and cancellation requests. Please retain your payment confirmation and transaction reference until the matter is resolved.
